NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — It’s no secret that the city of Norfolk is undergoing a lot of changes when it comes to its school division, and Tuesday leaders came together for a joint meeting to formally discuss where things stand, and where they still need to go.
A new acting superintendent, a new school board member and an official school consolidation plan — those are all the new things happening in Norfolk Public Schools, that on top of trying to balance a budget for next year, but officials say things are moving right along.
