CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A power line dangling from an overpass on Interstate 64 in Chesapeake put lives on the line, as Virginia State Police said a cable struck several cars.
One of the drivers, Adam Dowell, along with more than a half-dozen other drivers, were in the wrong place at the wrong time while traveling I-64 this past Wednesday.
“I was driving home,” Dowell said. “I was in the HOV on 64, right under the Greenbrier Parkway overpass, and there was a metal cable hanging down.”…
