3 people displaced after house fire on Lynnhurst Boulevard in Chesapeake

CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A family of three is displaced after a house fire in Chesapeake early Tuesday morning.

Fire crews were called to the 3300 block of Lynnhurst Boulevard around 5:43 a.m. after reports that a shed was on fire and spreading to a nearby home. When firefighters arrived, they found a two-story house with heavy flames coming from the rear.

Crews from Chesapeake, along with assistance from the Suffolk and Portsmouth fire departments, worked to extinguish the flames from the outside before moving inside to put out the fire. The fire was brought under control around 6:10 a.m…
