ICE agents deployed to 14 airports, but not ORF

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents are making their way to certain airports to help with growing TSA lines, this as TSA agents are calling out or quitting. But when it comes to Norfolk International Airport, it’s a tale of two cities, as passengers there are moving swiftly with hardly any wait time.

“Typically you’ll see almost no one in line,” said ORF spokesperson Chris Jones. “There are certainly peaks around the airline flight banks of arrivals that will pick up a little more. But it’s generally within 10-15 minutes,” said ORF spokesperson Chris Jones.

But videos circulating online have caused panic, he says, with some coming in earlier than they should…
