VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — On March 28, 2015, young men traveling on ATVs and a truck happened upon portions of a human skeleton off Virginia Beach Boulevard near the Birdneck area of Virginia Beach. Eleven years later, cold case detective Amy Lambert is on the case.
“Those remains could have been brought there down the creek,” Lambert said. “It could have been a storm. It could have been animal activity brought them there. We don’t actually know that he died there. The [medical examiner] determined that he’d been dead over a year, possibly up to two years.”
