Norfolk man convicted on federal drug charges

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A Norfolk man was convicted Wednesday in federal court on several charges as part of his role in a cocaine and heroin trafficking conspiracy, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District said.

Brehon Kanell Davis, 44, of Norfolk, was convicted on charges of conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute cocaine and heroin, and he was also convicted of two counts of possession with intent to distribute cocaine and cocaine base.

From at least April 2021 through December 2023, Davis’ co-conspirators got cocaine, heroin, fentanyl and paraflourofentanyl from out-of-state sources and had it shipped in wholesale quantities to Virginia, according to court records and evidence presented at trial. Davis and others then got the drugs to further distribution in Norfolk.
