PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Police announced the arrests of four people, all taken into custody at a home in Portsmouth.
Portsmouth police arrested 46-year-old Shane Cullen and three other suspects on April 1 following a regional investigation into motor vehicle thefts and burglaries. The operation at a residence in the 100 block of Afton Parkway led to the recovery of a rifle, multiple trailers and more than $10,000 worth of stolen lawn equipment.
Investigators determined the Afton Parkway home was being used as a point of sale for property stolen across Portsmouth, Norfolk and Hampton. Cullen was previously wanted on outstanding warrants for multiple larcenies and was involved in several vehicle pursuits with law enforcement while evading capture prior to his arrest, according to police…
