VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY)– Crews in Virginia Beach responded to fire near Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story Thursday morning.
According to officials, the fire occurred in the military housing near the intersection of Shore Drive and Independence Boulevard. This is right outside of the Gate 5 entrance to the base.
Officials confirmed a detached garage was on fire.
