NORFOLK, Va. — Drivers across Virginia are seeing higher prices at the pump once again, and new data shows just how much it’s adding up.
A new study from the Joint Economic Committee minority found Virginians spent more than $253 million on gas last month alone. In North Carolina, that number climbed even higher to about $361 million.
Nationwide, families are now paying about 35% more for gas compared to February 28, according to the report. In Hampton Roads, local auto shop manager Jim Sills says the rising costs have not yet changed customer behavior…
