NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk Fire-Rescue responded to multiple elevator rescues after a power outage in Downtown Norfolk Sunday, according to a post from the department on Facebook.
On April 5, crews evacuated all occupants in each elevator. One of the rescues necessitated a top-of-car removal from the 10th floor.
Where each rescue occurred in the area is currently unknown.
