HOWARD COUNTY, Md. (WAVY) — A Virginia Beach woman faces attempted murder and other charges in connection to the April shooting of a Shell gas station clerk in Maryland, police said.
Howard County Police said the release of a viral video on its social media platforms this week led to the ID and arrest of the suspect, Shantay Lashay O’Donnell, 46, of Virginia Beach. She faces charges of attempted first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, handgun violations and attempted armed robbery in connection to an April 17 shooting at a Shell gas station in the 7200 block of Cradlerock WayWay, Howard County Police said.
Howard County Police said they responded to the shooting at the Shell gas station around 7:43 p.m. and found an employee, Rab Nawaz, 65, of Columbia, Maryland, who had been shot.
