NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Ashley Dagner, charged with two counts of child abuse and one count of assault and battery following an Amber Alert, was granted bond Monday.
“I started crying, they woke me up about my sleep, so I didn’t know what was going on with the situation.” said Ashley Dagner’s sister, Erin Jones, who along with Dagner’s boyfriend, was in the courtroom.

It was Dagner’s boyfriend who she said took her 2-year-son without permission. He would be detained and not charged with a crime.
Prosecutors stated in court that when Norfolk Police were interviewing Dagner after calling police, she appeared severely intoxicated and, according to both her and her boyfriend, they had been drinking all day celebrating Dagner’s birthday and driving around during the day with two minors in the vehicle…
