WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police announced the arrest of a suspect in connection to making felony threats involving hate or bias.
Around 4:20 p.m. on May 24, an employee at a restaurant reportedly told the bartender not to serve the suspect alcohol. When the suspect overheard, they allegedly threatened to shoot the employee, using homophobic slurs, police said.
The suspect reportedly told the victim he would smack him and “see me outside” before using a homophobic slur; he also allegedly said, “I will shoot you,” according to the police report.
