WASHINGTON (7News) — A Maryland man is facing multiple charges after police said he threatened a restaurant employee in Northwest D.C. and allegedly used homophobic slurs during the incident.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded Sunday around 4:20 p.m. to a restaurant in the 1200 block of U Street Northwest.
Police said the threats came after an employee told a bartender not to serve the suspect alcohol. Police said the suspect overheard the conversation and threatened to shoot the employee while also using homophobic slurs toward them…
