A Prince George’s County mom was desperate to find the expensive sports car she and her son’s dad bought for his graduation after it was stolen just steps from their home on Memorial Day.
More than 24 hours later, the 2023 Camaro ZL1 was found abandoned on a street in Adelphi, Maryland. The mom, Mimi Arnett, said someone saw News4’s story, saw the car and reported it to police.
“I guess the neighbor that had called about, you know, my son’s car being in their neighborhood said that they seen my interview on NBC, you know, four,” Arnett said in a phone interview with News4. “And, yeah, they called, they said, ‘That’s that car that we saw on the news yesterday.’ So they called.”…
