Landscaping truck carrying Lithium-ion batteries goes up in flames in Rockville

ROCKVILLE, Md. (7News) — A landscaping truck went up in flames in Rockville Thursday morning, starting in a trailer that contained lithium-ion batteries and other combustible items, according to fire officials.

Pete Piringer, spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, said the exact cause of the fire remains under investigation.
