Head-on crash in DC sends 1 to the hospital

WASHINGTON — A head-on collision sent one woman to the hospital with what DC firefighters described as non-life-threatening injuries on Sunday night. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

According to a social media post from DC Fire and EMS, crews were called to the crash scene in the 4900 block of Reservoir Road and Canal Road in Northwest around 10:30 p.m. Crews found two cars involved in a crash. Despite the damage to both cars, fire crews did not need to pull anyone from the vehicles.

Firefighters said one woman was hospitalized with injuries not thought to be life-threatening, while another woman refused medical treatment at the scene of the crash…
