Woman pleads guilty to ramming through CIA gate, driving over double the legal BAC limit

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — A 28-year-old Italian woman pleaded guilty on Tuesday after ramming into a CIA gate while driving under the influence in May 2025, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office (USAO) for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Court documents stated that Monia Spadaro was charged with disregarding a signal from a law enforcement officer to stop and driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol. She was previously convicted in Virginia of a DUI in 2021 and reckless driving in 2022. She was also convicted in D.C. of a DUI in 2023.
