Families outraged after heavy equipment damages graves at Annandale cemetery

ANNANDALE, Va. (7News) — Families with loved ones buried at Pleasant Valley Memorial Park in Annandale discovered damage earlier this year across portions of the cemetery, including deep tire tracks, rutted ground and damaged headstones.

Photos shared with the 7News I-Team show what appear to be large tire marks cutting through burial sites, leaving visible scars across the cemetery grounds.

For Ciara Norfleet, whose family members are buried at Pleasant Valley Memorial Park, the damage is heartbreaking. After seeing the condition of the cemetery, Norfleet turned to social media to alert other families who may have loved ones buried there, too…
