WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) arrested and charged a 23-year-old, accusing him of assaulting an officer on July 5 around 2:15 a.m. at 13th Street NW and U Street NW.
Nolan Montcalm, a former student at American University, was with his friends when he encountered members from the National Guard.
