WASHINGTON (7News) — A man was fatally shot early Saturday in the Deanwood neighborhood of Northeast Washington, D.C., and homicide detectives are investigating.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, Sixth District officers responded at approximately 1:22 a.m. Saturday to the 5100 block of Sheriff Road NE for a report of a shooting.
