FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Weeks after a crash left a pedestrian in Hybla Valley injured, police said the man has died.
The Fairfax County Police Department announced that Julio Quintanilla, 61, of Alexandria, died Saturday from injuries sustained in the July 3 crash, in which a car struck Quintanilla as he tried to cross Richmond Highway.
Officials noted that, at this time, alcohol appears to have played a role for Quintanilla — who police said was not in a crosswalk at the time of the collision…
