SILVER SPRING, Md. (DC News Now) — A family of six is displaced after a fire broke out in Silver Spring early Monday morning, according to officials.
David Pazos, a spokesperson with the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, said crews responded to the 14800 block of Maydale Court around 5:15 a.m. for a house fire.
There, crews found flames coming from the front of a single-family home. A picture captured at the scene show the front of the home completely engulfed in flames.
Three adults and three kids who were inside the home managed to safely escape, Pazos noted.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze with no injuries reported. Pazos said the Red Cross is providing aid to the displaced family…
