WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police are looking for a person in a shooting that injured a teenage girl in Southeast D.C. in 2025.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that around 4:55 p.m. on Oct. 24, 2025, officers responded to the 800 block of Yuma St. SE for a reported shooting.
There, responding officers found the girl, who had been shot.
DC Fire and EMS took her to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
