The Montgomery County Department of Police has issued a Purple Alert and is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Reiven Velis, a 20-year-old autistic, non-verbal man who was reported missing Wednesday evening.
According to police, Velis was last seen at approximately 7pm on Wednesday, July 22, at a playground in the 9300 block of Piney Branch Rd. in Silver Spring.
He is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 100 pounds, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a light gray long-sleeve shirt with a blue shirt underneath, black shorts, and white Crocs. Police ask anyone who sees Velis to call 9-1-1 immediately…
