WASHINGTON (7News) — One adult and a cat were left without a home after an accidental kitchen fire filled several floors of a Northwest D.C. apartment building with smoke overnight.
The D.C. Fire and EMS Department posted on social media just before 12:30 a.m. July 28 that crews responded to the 700 block of New Hampshire Avenue NW for a fire inside an 11-story residential building.
