Passenger ejected from vehicle airlifted to hospital, driver arrested in DC crash

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A passenger was ejected from a vehicle and airlifted to a local hospital in a D.C. crash Friday morning, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Police arrived in the area of I-295 NB just north of the Malcolm X exit to reports of an accident involving an overturned vehicle.

Upon arrival, officers located a boy who had been ejected from the vehicle. Responders said he was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment.
