Roaming Rooster’s OG Nashville sandwich has earned a spot on The Washington Post’s list of the “40 Essential Dishes of D.C.,” highlighting selections from restaurants across Washington, DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia.
The Post praised the sandwich’s buttermilk-brined chicken, seasoned with smoked paprika and cayenne pepper, along with its vinaigrette-dressed rainbow slaw and pickle chips.
