MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A sinkhole is causing traffic disruptions in Montgomery County early Thursday morning, authorities said.
River Road is closed in Potomac after a sinkhole opened along the roadway, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration (MDSHA)
MDSHA posted around 1 a.m. that the road hazard was reported on MD 190, or River Road, at Counselman Road.
All eastbound lanes are closed, while the right westbound lane is also closed. Drivers are being urged to use an alternate route and expect delays…
