Up To 110 Years Behind Bars: 19-Year-Old Convicted In Suitland Metro Murder Of Zakaryah Link

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. – Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Tara Jackson announced today that 19-year-old Tyrek Bryant has been convicted of second-degree murder, first-degree assault, attempted armed robbery, conspiracy to commit attempted armed robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence, and carrying a loaded handgun on person related to the murder of 18-year-old Zakaryah Link.

Co-defendant 18-year-old Chauncey Jones pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence.
