WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A teenage boy was hospitalized after a Thursday shooting in Southeast D.C., according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
Police said officers responded shortly before 1:30 p.m. to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of Brandywine Street, SE.

There, the teen was found conscious and breathing, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital for treatment by DC Fire and EMS.
