WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A woman was seriously hurt after being struck by a tow truck in Northeast D.C. on Saturday, according to the DC Fire and EMS Department.
Responders said crews were called to reports of a person trapped underneath a tow truck after being struck in the 2600 Block of 24th St NE.

There, firefighters said the woman was extricated and taken to the hospital. The tow truck driver was evaluated at the scene but refused treatment.
