An Annandale man is facing charges after police say he fired several gunshots while fishing on the Potomac.
Arlington County police were dispatched to the area around Chain Bridge just after midnight this morning after D.C. police reported the sound of gunfire on the Virginia side of the river.
“Responding officers canvassed the area and located and detained the male suspect on a nearby riverbank,” according to today’s crime report. “The preliminary investigation indicates the suspect was fishing when he allegedly produced a firearm and discharged multiple rounds. No injured persons or property damage were located.”…
