WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police said an older juvenile who had been found with a gunshot wound in Southeast DC on Tuesday died from his injuries.
The Metropolitan Police Department said officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of Minnesota Ave. SE for the report of a shooting.

“Upon arrival officers located a older juvenile male, unconscious and not breathing, suffering from a gunshot wound,” MPD said. “DC Fire and EMS responded to the scene and are currently performing all lifesaving measures.”
In a later update MPD said the juvenile was taken to the hospital for treatment and died.
“Despite all lifesaving efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital,” MPD said…
