WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said two men were injured during two separate shootings overnight in D.C.
MPD said that at about 2:15 a.m., it was dispatched to the 1600 block of L St. NW for the report of a shooting.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a man who had been shot. He was conscious and breathing.
The man was transported to the hospital.
Two teens shot in Southeast DC
MPD said that over an hour later, at about 3: 55 a.m., it was dispatched to the 1300 block of Downing St. NE for the report of a shooting.
Police found a man who had been shot. He was conscious and breathing.
The man was transported to the hospital for treatment.
