WASHINGTON – An investigation is underway in Southeast, D.C. after a 51-year-old man was shot and killed on Saturday. At 2:46 p.m. on Feb. 4, officers with the Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 1200 block of Southern Avenue, Southeast, for a report of a shooting. At the scene, officers found a man who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
