Expert highlights dementia-related wandering dangers after Md. woman found dead

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (7News) – Prince George’s County police recently found a 72-year-old woman with dementia dead after she’d been missing for a week. The local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association said she may have “wandered” off. Wandering is a common and potentially dangerous symptom of dementia and Alzheimer’s. It can happen anytime and for any reason.
