A Gaithersburg man was convicted today for a bank robbery he committed in September, 2021. According to Montgomery County State’s Office, “Today in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, MD, before the Honorable Sharon Burrell, a jury found defendant, Samuel Harry Powell Jr., 59, of Gaithersburg, guilty on charges of armed robbery and robbery.
