Local Residents Among Those Arrested in Recent Vehicle Theft Spree in DC

The Metropolitan Police Department has reported a series of arrests related to vehicle theft in Washington, DC. These arrests occurred over a week in February 2024, involving both juveniles and adults.

On February 9, a 15-year-old male from Temple Hills, MD, was arrested for vehicle theft on Wagner Street, Southeast. The next day, three 19-year-olds were arrested for similar crimes in different locations. These individuals were Daquan Garner of Northwest, DC, Mendoza Neveah of Silver Spring, MD, and Jeremiah Harris of Temple Hills, MD. A 15-year-old male from Suitland, MD, and Bryan Hagigal, a 19-year-old from Northwest, DC, were also arrested.

On February 12, Trey Redmond, an 18-year-old from Southeast, DC, was arrested on Valley Avenue, Southeast. On February 14, several more arrests were made, including individuals ranging in age from 12 to 57, from various locations including DC, VA, MD, and OR.

The arrests concluded on February 15, with Richard Little, a 36-year-old from Northwest, DC, being arrested for vehicle theft on Fernway Road, Northwest. The Metropolitan Police Department has not provided additional details about these arrests or the status of the cases.
