WASHINGTON – An awards ceremony honoring those who have worked to preserve the history of Go-Go music will be held Sunday night in Southeast, D.C. The ceremony comes ahead the official grand opening of DC’s Go-Go Museum. Officials say the brick-and-mortar location is expected to open in Anacostia sometime this spring.
