WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) worked with the Alcohol Beverage and Cannabis Administration (ABCA) to close an unlicensed cannabis retailer in Northwest D.C. after it did not follow ABCA’s orders.
On Thursday, MPD assisted the ABCA in shutting down Supreme Terpene, located at 1344 U St., after the establishment did not comply with the ACBA, despite having previously been issued warnings and a cease-and-desist order.

ABCA determined that the retailer’s closure was necessary to protect the public. MPD officers and ACBA investigators went to the store and served the owners with an official closure notice.
Inside Supreme Terpene, officers noticed an illegal amount of marijuana, marijuana edibles, THC products and entheogenic mushrooms, all out in plain sight.
Two women were arrested and a search warrant was obtained and executed at the store.
