Motorcyclist dies after crash with SUV in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) is investigating after a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV left a man dead in Cheverly on Tuesday.

According to PGPD, officers with the Cheverly Police Department responded to the intersection of Landover Road and Cheverly Avenue at around 1 p.m. for the report of a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV.

The motorcycle rider, Donnell Floyd, 40, of Clinton, died of his injuries shortly after the collision.

The driver of the SUV stayed at the scene and was uninjured.

PGPD investigates all deadly crashes in Cheverly, and investigators are working to determine the cause.
