Virginia Woman Held Without Bond After Stabbing Boyfriend

WARREN COUNTY, Va. – A Fairfax woman is behind bars after seriously injuring a man during a domestic incident.

According to a Warren County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) media release, the incident occurred September 28, 2024. The WCSO received a 911 call reporting a stabbing in the Shenandoah Farms area.

Upon arrival, deputies located a male victim bleeding from a severe arm wound. They quickly administered first aid by using a tourniquet. Warren County Fire and Rescue rushed the victim to Winchester Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries.

The assailant was identified as Clara Isabel Lopez, a 37-year-old female. A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim and the suspect were involved in a relationship and lived together.

Lopez was located on-scene and transported to Warren Memorial Hospital, where she was examined for injuries and medically released. She was then arrested for felony Aggravated Malicious Wounding and transported to the Rappahannock Shenandoah Warren (RSW) Regional Jail without incident.
