Derrick Henry Poised to Join Elite Ranks With Rare Milestone in Week 6

The Baltimore Ravens are heading into Week 6 looking to secure their fourth consecutive victory, facing off against the Washington Commanders , who have also rallied with four straight wins since their Week 1 loss.

Central to the Ravens’ success has been their ground game, particularly the performance of star running back Derrick Henry. After spending the previous eight seasons with the Tennessee Titans , Henry is enjoying a standout debut season in Baltimore.

Having scored a touchdown in every game so far, Henry is on the verge of a significant milestone. If he finds the end zone again in Week 6, he will become the first running back since LaDainian Tomlinson in 2005 to rush for touchdowns in each of his team’s first six games.

The dynamic duo of Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson has proven to be nearly unstoppable from an offensive standpoint, with Henry on pace for one of the best seasons of his illustrious career through the first five weeks.

So far this season, Henry has rushed 95 times for 572 yards and six rushing touchdowns, in addition to catching six passes for one receiving touchdown. He made history last week by surpassing 10,000 career rushing yards, rushing for 92 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals in a thrilling 41-38 overtime victory.
