Virginia Man Sentenced To 10 Years For Selling Fentanyl Pills

Alhagi Gassim Conteh, 30, of Alexandria, Virginia, was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for distributing counterfeit oxycodone pills containing fentanyl. Court documents revealed that between February and April 2024, Conteh obtained and distributed nearly 4,000 counterfeit oxycodone pills laced with fentanyl. Conteh, a convicted felon, sourced the pills from a supplier in Fredericksburg who was receiving packages of up to 30,000 fentanyl pills at a time.
