Global Entry trusted traveler arrested with drugs at Dulles Airport

STERLING, Va. ( DC News Now ) — U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers said a California woman, who is a Global Entry trusted traveler, was arrested at Washington Dulles International Airport on Oct. 22 after police found various drugs in her suitcase.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers said that CBP narcotics detector dog Cinkos alerted them to a suitcase that was being offloaded from a flight that arrived from Amsterdam during a CBP enforcement operation.

When officers searched the suitcase, they found multiple narcotics. Officers then allowed the suitcase to arrive at the baggage belt.

Officers were able to identify the owner of the suitcase and took her to a secondary examination.

While examining her suitcase, officers found and tested the narcotics.

The substances were identified as MDMA, psilocybin mushrooms, cocaine, ketamine, 2C-B and marijuana.

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police arrested and charged Taylor Alexandra Trautloff, 27, of Los Angeles, on felony narcotics possession charges.
