Game Grades: UW/Indiana

Quarterbacks: It seemed almost from the get-go that Will Rogers was off. His decision-making was much slower than it had been in other games. He never seemed to find a comfort-level during the game. Some of that assuredly is what Indiana was doing defensively. They were disguising coverages well and were getting pressure on him quickly. I also think the the pick six really shook him and he just never seemed to find a rhythm. Because of the offensive line’s struggles (see below), he was forced to move off of his spot a lot and he didn’t show the ability to be accurate on the run. That isn’t his forte for sure, but it wasn’t a weakness that we saw in camp. However, on this day at least, he just wasn’t right. His two interceptions led to 14 points for the Hoosiers. Demond Williams came in and gave the Huskies a bit of a spark especially with his legs, but it wasn’t enough and he still has a ways to go when he’s asked to drop back and throw the ball. Grade: C-.
