WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said it arrested two teens in connection to an attempted armed robbery that happened in Northwest D.C. on Saturday night.
Police said that on Oct. 26, at about 9:40 p.m., the victim was riding his bike in the 1400 block of Geranium St. when two suspects approached him.

One of the suspects pulled out a gun and told the victim to give them his belongings.
The suspects left the scene without the victim’s belongings.
Police arrested and charged a 16-year-old boy, of Silver Spring, Md., and 18-year-old Aaron Smith, of Northwest, D.C., with Attempt to Commit Robbery.
