WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said a Northwest D.C. shooting left multiple vehicles and apartment windows damaged on Friday night.
According to a police report obtained by DC News Now, at about 9:40 p.m., officers responded to the 1400 block of 7th St. for sounds of gunshots.

There, they found 43 shell casings at the scene.
Police also located multiple shattered windows at an apartment complex at 770 P St. and several vehicles in the area damaged by bullets.
