Woman arrested in connection to fatal Northeast DC stabbing

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Police in D.C. arrested a woman on Wednesday who they say stabbed two people in September.

Shortly before 3 p.m. on Sept. 1, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the stabbing in the 900 block of Division Avenue NE.

There, they found a woman suffering from stab wounds. She was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Before police arrived, however, a second victim – 23-year-old Gray Hall of Northeast D.C. – went to the Sixth District police station for help. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Authorities arrested 40-year-old Shameka Jackson of Northeast D.C. She was charged with second-degree murder while armed.
